Placing and mounting Busylights

Make sure the Busylights are placed where they are most visible to colleagues – also from a distance. 

Busylights are designed to complement modern office aesthetics with easy magnetic mounting

Optimal Busylight placement

Good practice in open offices is mounting Busylight on top of the monitor, in a cubicle, or on partitions, where the light is visible.

• Busylight Alpha is designed for vertical mounting on monitors.

• Busylight Omega is designed for mounting on horizontal surfaces

Less optimal placement

Be careful that the Busylight is visible - if not visible, the Busylight becomes an individual and not a team availability indicator.  

Mounting

Busylights are delivered with all you need for mounting

• Magnet 

• Adhesive tape

  • Taping to different types of surfaces is possible, both horizontal and vertical. 
  • Taping to vertical fabric is possible on a horizontal surface

Wiring

For use cases where busylights are mounted outside office doors, in hallways, or in other ways that require extended cables, be aware that cables can be extended up to 10 meters.
